Nice shot. What type equipment do you use? Looks Gothic surreal. I like it alot. Skylines always make good walls.

Thanks for your compliments, I appreciate it.

I use a Canon Digital Rebel (6.1MP - first model) with a Sigma Lens (18-125mm). It's getting long in the tooth but I'm going to continue using it till it falls apart. Photoshop was used to mimic the effect of a tilt-shift lens setup.

Also, there are several different color variations if anyone is interested.

Tilt-shift is so badass, especially when you have a sweet subject like the skyline.

Hey Luke,

I sent you a message through the system and probably figured you haven't noticed it maybe. Anyways I would love to use this image as a header image on my blog, however due to the licensing I am unable to modify it in order to make it in the space. I look forward to hearing from you.

Just so you know, this is by far my favorite picture of Chicago by far, and I have looked forever for a good pic. Great work on this one!

I just noticed this comment as I haven't been logged into my DeviantArt Account in a long time. It's great to hear you enjoyed my Chicago shot. Sure, as long as you mention my name (Luke Walker) if anyone asks who took the picture (and modified it). Good luck with blog work.
